The Murray Bridge couple will be saying “I do” today in a Valentine’s Day wedding at Rainforest Retreat, with the reception to be held at the Rambler Football Club.

The couple got engaged two years ago and set the wedding date for February 14, 2012.

Mr Schneider said they had never made a big deal about Valentine’s Day in the past, but now it would be an extra special day to remember.

“One day I came home from work and thought, ‘what about Valentine’s Day?’” Mr Schneider said.

Even though Valentine’s Day has fallen on a weekday, it will not deter about 50 guests from attending the wedding.

“We wanted it to be a small wedding with family and friends,” Ms Box said.

Ms Box said guests who had to work would attend afterwards and still be able to join the celebrations.

She said family and friends were travelling from Victoria, New South Wales and as far away as Los Angeles, USA, to make the nuptials.

The couple plan to honeymoon in Phuket, Thailand within the next few months.
