Murrayville v Karoonda
Murrayville finally showed some form to defeat Pinnaroo in their last match.
Will Dalwood and Clayton Sporn have been the regular shining lights for Murrayville, featuring in the best players most weeks.
James Beckmann is an under-rated, hard-working forward who is rarely beaten.
Damien Fenoughty has been battling injury but is still a dangerous player.
To be a force again this year Drew Crane, Rian Crane and Michael O’Malley need to find their 2007 form and provide more goal scoring options.
Karoonda’s loss to Peake leaves them unlikely to play finals and although defeating Murrayville earlier in the year, it is hard to see them repeating the dose.
Eugene Wanganeen should return to strengthen the defence this week.
Corey Knight is in sensational form up forward and Brodie Chinner has made a good comeback from his knee injury.
Jamie Reed is a quick running defender and Reece Boughen is starting to play consistent football.
Murrayville will continue their push to the finals with a win over Karoonda.
Peake v Lameroo
Peake will give themselves a good chance in this match after running over Karoonda and Lameroo was very disappointing against BDT.
Matt Seyers is a huge target at half forward and he brings other players into the game.
Toby Downs finally found form with seven goals against Karoonda to provide another option. Nathan Spry has been great in defence after retuning this year and Brendan Pett is a quality midfielder.
Travis Carling is a player who can hurt teams with his clean disposal and Tim Spry will get better the more he plays.
Lameroo will be keen to atone for their dismal showing against BDT.
Their better players were in defence with Luke Andre-wartha and Brad Zerk.
Billy McNeilly played well, but should return to West Adelaide this week.
If Chris Philbey, Dan Wohling, Shane Agelis and Jarred Eckermann are given enough opportunities, they can kick a winning score for Lameroo.
