Murray Bridge Jazz Festival draws interstate crowds

The Murray Bridge Jazz Festival was held across town over the weekend, drawing guests from across the border.

Eleven bands provided musical entertainment for locals and visitors from opening night on Friday, October 14 to close on Sunday, October 16.

The Murray Bridge Golf Club hosted opening night on Friday and the Murray Bridge Community Club held concerts through the day and night on Saturday.

Guests climbed aboard the Captain Proud for two separate river jazz cruises on Saturday.

On Sunday, Murray Bridge said farewell to the festival with a brunch at the community club.

In the afternoon, the festival moved through the Adelaide Hills for a concert at the Blackwood RSL and a dinner at House of Zen in Belair.

Among the visitors were a group from across the Victorian border who regularly make the trip for the three day festival.

Groups also made the short trip up from Adelaide to mix with locals over the weekend.
