Murray Bridge composer Jesse Budel has once again been acknowledged for his unique musical talent.
He was nominated for his work with the South Australian Youth Arts Board (SAYAB) in the Arts and Fashion Award category.
This year, he was named the inaugural recipient of a Carclew Fellowship, which enables him to travel to the United States and Canada to explore environmental music and sound art on an international level.
He will participate in Composing In The Wilderness course in Alaska, in Denali National Park, and producing a creative-responsive work for the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival.
Jesse is currently a candidate for a PhD at the Elder Conservatorium of Music for investigating innovative methods of producing creative responses to particular locations, their ecosystems and soundscapes.
He has completed a degree of Bachelor of Music (Composition), with First Class Honours and is a member of the Golden Key International Honours Society.
