A drink driver was caught by police after he was stopped in Bowhill on the weekend.
Police stopped a car travelling along Providence Drive just after 6pm on Saturday, February 11 and breath tested the driver.
The 54-year-old man from Highbury allegedly returned a positive result of 0.117.
Further checks on the man revealed he had been disqualified from driving and he was subsequently arrested by police.
The man was charged with drink driving and driving disqualified.
He was also issued an instant loss of licence for six months.
He will be summoned to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court at a later date.
