Young boys charged over suspicious fires in Murray Bridge

A 13-year-old boy from Monarto and a 14-year-old boy from Salisbury North have been arrested and charged with arson after allegedly starting three suspicious fires in Murray Bridge on Monday night.

Just after 6pm on February 13, a charity bin was set on fire on Railway Terrace, Murray Bridge.

A short time later, a brush fence was set alight on Flavel Terrace and grass was set alight on Ida Street.

Both boys have been bailed to appear in the Murray Bridge Youth Court on April 4.

Police reported that further inquiries were continuing to locate another suspect.
