After about two years of growing his hair, and becoming attached to it, Murray Bridge resident Dylan Kuchel will shave it all off on Thursday night, March 16, in the name of fundraising.

Dylan is preparing for his big gesture to raise funds for the Leukemia Foundation in the World’s Greatest Shave.

He will be doing the deed at 8.30pm at the Imperial Football Clubrooms.

“Anyone can come along, I just want to raise some money for a good cause,” he said.

People can make cash or online donations, or even buy a couple of drinks over the bar on the night as a percentage of bar proceeds will also be donated to the cause.

Dylan said if enough people come along, he would consider an auction where the winner would do the honours and shave his head.

So far, Dylan has raised $800, he has a goal of $2000 which would contribute to the $7.5 million that has already been raised nation-wide.
