Murray Bridge Farmers Market decides to hibernate

Murray Bridge Farmers Market will close down during the winter months, when mornings are chilly and crowds are thinner, its committee has announced.

In future it will run only during daylight savings time, finishing on April 1 and restarting on September 30 this year.

The exception will be March 25, when it will combine with the artists’ market on Sixth Street.

During the break, organisers and stallholders will “build capacity” and fundraise for summertime activities.
