Declared reserve auction at Murray Bridge East nets no bids

A Murray Bridge East home offered for sale by an auction with a publicly declared reserve – a rare sales technique – remains on the market.

Despite bidders knowing the house’s reserve price in advance, and an attendance of about 20, the auction came and went on Saturday without any bids being placed.

Landmark agent Mark Egan said he was confident the home would sell anyway, and that he would consider a declared reserve auction again, depending on the vendor’s circumstances.
