Murraylands teenagers to face court over alleged theft

A 15-year-old from Mannum and 17-year-old from Tailem Bend will face court after they were charged with a series of offences on Friday, April 14.

Police stopped the unregistered vehicle on Cameron Court in Murray Bridge just after 2.30am and located a television in the back seat.

Police alleged the television had been stolen from a Murray Bridge school that was broken into several hours earlier.

The 15-year-old driver was charged with driving unlicenced, driving an unregistered vehicle, serious criminal trespass and unlawful possession.

The 17-year-old was charged with serious criminal trespass and unlawful possession.

Both teenagers were granted bail and will be expected to appear in the Murray Bridge Youth Court on June 6.
