The Murray Bridge Swimming Club held its presentation lunch recently to celebrate the 2016-2017 swimming season.
Alistair Neumann received the Senior Cod 50m Freestyle perpetual trophy presented by Ron O'Neil. The Junior Cod 50m Freestyle trophy was won by Briannah Griffiths.
Bronze Achievement Certificates are awarded for 8 to 17 breaks of time during the season. Recipients were Luke Ratzmer, Emily and Jessica Kerr, Ophelia, Alistair, Oscar and Asher Neumann, Charlotte and Madeleine Jones and Gabby and Tess Huxtable.
Recipients of the Gold Certificate for more than 28 breaks of time were Abbey Cummings, William Tabe, Laura Cummings and Haylee Ratzmer.
Silver Achievement Certificates for 18 to 27 breaks of time for the season were awarded to Isabella Roberts, and Paris and Samuel Montgomery-Pittaway.
The 20 Lap Challenge recipients, who each received a medallion for their efforts, were Samuel Montgomery-Pittaway and Lily King (both of whom also completed the 30 lap challenge), Ned King, Bronte Folley, Hayley and Luke Ratzmer, Blake Krollig, Adela Chewings, Jace Ridley, Annabelle Starr, Rachel Neumann, Leanne Pittaway and Maralyn Polak.
Relay team 'Destiny and the Beast' comprising Annabelle Starr, Lilly King, Ned King and Bronte Folley, was awarded The York Brown Trophy 4 x 50m Freestyle Relay presented by life member Aileen Earl.
Golden Splash Awards for the 50m parents race were awarded to Leanne Pittaway in first place in a time of 36.97, Rachel Neumann, 2nd in a time of 40.90, 3rd was Maralyn Polak with a time if 42.88 and 4th, Amanda Martin with her time of 50.91.
Winners of the men's Golden Splash Awards were 1st Mick Ireland in a time of 33.81, 2nd was Trevor Tabe with a time of 38.03 and 3rd, Rodger King with his time of 45.86.
