These days, the name Murray Bridge applies to an area stretching from the welcome sign in the west to the river in the east, and from the meat works to the freeway.
But it was not always so.
More than a century ago, when the town was still called Mobilong, each residential subdivision was known by a different name - some poetic, some less so.
There was Morningside, in the east, and Glenview, a sweet name for an area overlooking a swamp; Laneville and Kerkanya; and Sladden Town, Rundleville and Dunoon Park, names with links to figures from the city's past.
Try out the interactive map above to find out whether you live in one of the old subdivisions – it works best if you expand it to a full-screen view.
