Man arrested for threatening with knife in Murray Bridge

A man has been arrested in Murray Bridge for allegedly threatening three people with a knife.

It will be alleged the man was walking along Lohmann and Jarvis Streets, Murray Bridge carrying a knife between 11 and 11.30am yesterday, May 17.

He confronted and threatened people in Lohmann Street, Jarvis Street and again on Jarvis Street during that time.

None of the victims were known to the suspect, and none was injured.

The 35-year-old Murray Bridge man was arrested by patrols and charged with three counts of aggravated assault and carry offensive weapon.

He was refused bail and was due to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court today.
