Buyers, browsers and stall holders flocked to the Coonalpyn Town Hall on Monday June 12 for the town’s 2017 Market Day.

The day kicked off at 9am and carried on until three in the afternoon, and attendees had 42 stall holders to pick up a variety of different items from.

People of all ages attended the day, and plenty of little ones enjoyed getting their faces painted.

A Cancer Council SA Biggest Morning Tea was incorporated into the market day.

All of the proceeds raised from the day were donated to the Cancer Council.

The morning tea enjoyed by locals and travellers, resulting in over $2000 being raised on the day.

Items on sale ranged from beaded jewellery-to-homebaked goods and handcrafted children’s clothes-to-chickens.

Metal craftings by regional profile cutters were also on offer and a blacksmith worked on-site, showcasing his skills to the public.
