Murray Bridge man loses car and licence after blood alcohol reading nearly three times too high.

A 38-year-old man from Murray Bridge has been reported for drink driving and has lost his licence and his vehicle on the spot.

At 2.17am on Thursday, 15 June, police detected the man driving on Adelaide Road, Murray Bridge. He recorded a test reading of 0.148. He lost his licence for six months and his vehicle was impounded.

Police remind drivers that the legal limit is 0.05 and higher levels severely reduce the ability to drive safely.
