Harry Videl's horse-drawn van raises funds for Royal Flying Doctor Service

Harry Videl is travelling around the South East with a horse-drawn van throughout July and August to raise money for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Reader Pam Skinner spotted him leaving Murray Bridge last week, and correspondent Marianne Cunneen caught up with him at Meningie a few days ago.

In each town he passes through, he stops to collect donations and give his horses, George and Henry, a few well deserved carrots.

They were the focus of much attention from passers-by on the Princes Highway.
