If you’re in town and want to hear smooth tunes, The Station’s Acoustic Sessions concert will be the place for you.
Starting at 6pm on Saturday, the youth space will come alive with young solo and duo artists showcasing their skills in a relaxed setting.
Rural City of Murray Bridge youth officer Paul Ankerson said he is thrilled to be putting on the event again.
“We always get great reactions from this annual event, so we’re going to keep it going for as long as we can,” Mr Ankerson said. “A lot of the acts are coming through our Band Connections program but they’re performing either alone or with a duo.”
Some of the performers will front a crowd for the first time, and Mr Ankerson said the Acoustic Sessions setting is ideal. “We’ll be having a cafe-like setting with round tables, dim lighting and much lower volume than we have at our other events.
“It will be great for families to come along and watch their young artists perform,” Mr Ankerson said.
