Under 9s

A cold, muddy and windy morning for the U9s at Strathalbyn’s Equestrian fields, with every shirt covered in mud after the game. Chase Collins and Lexie Gould worked well in defence early.

Strath were strong in their midfield keeping the MB players from getting close to their goals, but great team play from Mikaylah Cooper, Miah Ridley and Matthew Ferriera and Jarred Vokes – passing the ball around to secure a goal form Jarred.

Not long after, good play from our forwards, with a wayward ball from Strath’s goalie – just dribbling in for MB’s second goal.

Dan Curcudel make some great saves today as goalie for the game.

Second half saw United continue with great team passing and working the ball well to score a goal within the first 40 seconds from Chase Collins. The team continued to work the ball from end to end. Tahlia Ridley, Ruby Montgomery-Pittaway and Edward Rigney all played well. Liam Wegener – on his birthday, managed to secure his first goal ever.
