Two people will face court over serious traffic offences which occurred in the Murraylands on August 18.
Just before 9am, police stopped a car after it was detected travelling at 160 kilometres per hour in a 110 speed zone on the Dukes Highway at Elwomple.
Checks of the licence of the driver, a 43-year-old Victorian woman, revealed she had never held a driver’s licence.
She was drug tested and allegedly returned a positive result for methamphetamine and may face further charges pending the results of a forensic analysis.
She was arrested and charged with exceeding the speed limit and issued with a cannabis expiation notice for possessing cannabis and equipment.
She was bailed to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on September 19.
