As part of history studies and the class theme of the Gold Rush and Bushrangers, time was spent fossicking through old houses, stores and even a visit to the police station, of course, being locked in the jail for a bit of quality thinking time.

The class was also treated to a school lesson in the old classroom and learnt all about how different school life was back then to now.

For some parents there was some reliving of their time at school and some not so pleasant moments!

Some of the class really got into the theme of the day dressing up in olden day clothes.

The school felt it was fortunate to have such a wonderful museum at its doorstep.
