Vandals target Murray Bridge schools

Local police are investigating another series of vandalism incidents at Murray Bridge schools.

Over the past few weeks, police have received reports of graffiti, property damage and theft throughout the township.

Between August 31 and September 8, black paint was used to mark graffiti at the Murray Bridge High School and a quantity of rope was stolen from a flagpole on school grounds at Murray Bridge South Primary School between September 8 and 11.

Graffiti was marked on external building walls and on a school bus at Murray Bridge North school between September 8 and 11, before various parts of the school grounds and building were also targeted with black paint.

Police asked anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au, and that all information can be provided anonymously.

Police have also encouraged the public to report suspicious activity in and around school buildings immediately to 131 444.
