Young boys arrested following a break-in at Greenbanks, near Murray Bridge on the River Murray

Two 11-year-old boys and a 12-year-old boy were arrested and charged with serious criminal trespass after they allegedly broke into a shack at Greenbanks over the weekend.

On Sunday, October 15, members of the public alerted Murray Bridge police that three boys had entered the property around 3.30pm.

On arrival, police located the three children inside and quickly detained them, before discovering the shack had been significantly damaged on the inside.

Police arrested and charged an 11-year-old boy from Echunga, an 11-year-old from Tennyson and a 12-year-old from Marryatville, with aggravated serious criminal trespass and property damage.

All three boys have been bailed to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on Tuesday, December 5.
