A kaleidoscope of colour will be on display at the Murray Bridge Regional Art Gallery from Friday, as it hosts an exhibition of ceramics from JamFactory icon Gerry Wedd, as well as the Rotary Youth Art Prize nominations.
Submissions from Murraylands youth will be on display in four categories, 12 to 15 years, 16 to 18 years, 19 to 25 years and a people’s choice award.
Winners of the categories will take home $300 each, with the overall winner pocketing $1000.
The exhibition will be held between October 20 to December 3.
During the same time a display of Gerry Wedd’s work will take pride of place at the gallery.
The work has been described as a day at the beach, with a smash of homebaked reality pie in your face for good measure.
The gallery, which is located at 27 Sixth Street, Murray Bridge, is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm, and Sunday from 11am to 4pm.
