The Mobilong Rotary Club has recognised the service of two departing members with a Paul Harris Fellowship.

District Governor Bob Cooper surprised Rotarian Scott Sickerdick in announcing his award during his annual club visit.

A short time later, Scott’s wife Valerie was even more surprised on the announcement of her name for an identical award.

President Adrian Pergallini highlighted the outstanding contributions the pair has made to the club and community.

Scott, as a club director, provided outstanding leadership particularly in catering projects undertaken by the club while Valerie is currently club secretary and was a key leader of the regular Mobilong Country Market.

In addition both members have a long history of community involvement beginning in the Adelaide Hills, well before their arrival in Murray Bridge.

Club members expressed their best wishes as the couple move to Wentworth to accept new employment opportunities.
