Voting is open on a $20 million funding program that could transform communities across South Australia: Fund My Neighbourhood.
Sixty-six projects have qualified for the voting round in the Murraylands and Mallee.
Over the next three weeks, The Murray Valley Standard will provide information about each and every one of them in an effort to encourage locals to log on and vote.
Doing so could make some of the great ideas being thought up in our communities into a reality.
Details which do not make it into our print editions will be published at www.murrayvalleystandard.com.au.
Premier Jay Weatherill said he had been overwhelmed by the number of projects nominated for the program.
"Nobody knows your neighbourhood better than you, so don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to win funding for your streets, suburbs and towns," he said.
"I strongly encourage everyone to get involved by logging on and voting for local Fund My Neighbourhood projects."
All South Australians over the age of 18 are eligible to vote for up to five of the 30 projects closest to their home addresses.
Fund My Neighbourhood voting will close on Saturday, November 20.
A second $20 million round of funding will be offered in 2018.
