It may not be Halloween until tomorrow, but over the weekend celebrity heavyweights joined in on spooky celebrations- and they are every bit as fabulous as you would expect.
Many celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Ellie Goulding and model Imaan Hammam opted to pay homage to their musical favourites including Slash and Dolly Parton.
Kim K has already won Halloween with three Halloween costumes this year already - Madonna and Michael Jackson at the 1991 Oscars, alongside sister Kourtney, and couple dressing as Sonny and Cher with her best friend Jonathan Cheban at the Casamigos tequila annual Halloween party were the highlights.
Social media has however called out the mother-of-two for paying tribute to Aaliyah, labelling it cultural appropriation given that the late R&B singer was African-American.
The party, held by the Casamigos tequila owners George Clooney and friend Rande Gerber (Cindy Crawford's husband), did not disappoint, with its 70s disco throwback theme. Both Cindy Crawford and Amal Clooney could be crowned disco divas of the bash, posing and dancing together in their striking outfits. Clooney completed her look with glittery flared pants, a bustier top and oversize sunglasses, as well as a crimped wig.
Both Crawford and Gerber's model children Kaia and Presley joined in on the fun donning Twiggy-esque and straight-out-of-a-James-Bond-movie glamour alongside their parents.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art, famous for its annual gala hosted by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, also hosted its inaugural Halloween bash with stars including Wendi Deng, ex-wife of Rupert Murdoch, leading the charge with Day of The Dead inspired makeup and a statement headpiece alongside her daughters Chloe and Grace Murdoch. Joan Smalls, Karlie Kloss, Jessica Chastain and Nicky Hilton Rothschild also turned heads in their gothic inspired outfits.
Singer Adele celebrated the day along with her son Angelo's fifth birthday party. In her first picture since finishing up her world tour in June, she of course went for scary glam.
The photo has already accumulated more than one million likes.
Many fans are waiting to see Heidi Klum's look, with the model notoriously going all out for her annual party. And while she hasn't yet revealed her costume, she did take to Instagram to tease it.
"Halloween is getting closer and closer ......," she wrote in a caption.
