Police have apprehended three drivers for traffic offences over the weekend.
Just after 6pm last Friday, officers arrested a 24-year-old woman from Murray Bridge and charged her with driving while having a suspended license after she was stopped on McHenry Street.
She was granted bail and is expected to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on December 12.
About 4.15pm on Saturday, a 51-year-old man from Murray Bridge was reported for driving while being disqualified after being stopped on Myall Avenue.
His vehicle was impounded for 28 days and he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
Around 8.30pm that night, a 36-year-old man from Ponde was reported for driving while unlicensed after being stopped on the corner of Charles Street and Adelaide Road, Murray Bridge.
He was issued with a fine for allegedly possessing cannabis, and a drug diversion notice – essentially, a direction to enrol in an education program – for possession of a pipe.
He will be summonsed to court at a later date.
