Sixth Street Handmade artists’ market returns

Sixth Street is set to come alive again with the next Sixth Street Handmade artist market this Saturday.

The quirky barbecues are back and more than 40 artists will offer their wares, giving market-goers an opportunity to purchase quality, handmade products direct from their makers.

Murray Bridge Regional Gallery director Melinda Rankin said it would be the biggest market yet.

“We have also been keen to provide opportunities for people to get creative themselves, so we hope that people will not only enjoy seeing the efforts of creative people, they will have a go,” she said.

Live music, including blues from Mick Kidd and David Blight, will echo through the air all day; and the Kondoli whale tent will be back, with Ngarrindjeri storytelling by a local elder.
