Adelaide Vocal Union to give a cappella concert at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Murray Bridge

The Holy Cross Social Club will host another afternoon concert this Sunday, November 12, after their much-enjoyed men's choral concert earlier this year.

This weekend's concert will again showcase all-male vocal harmony, with a performance from the Adelaide Vocal Union, an enthusiastic men's chorus – don't call them a choir – whose 20 members are young and old.

They recently returned from a successful national competition in Sydney where they placed second.

On Sunday the blokes will sing a variety of old-fashioned and modern a cappella numbers, and the program will also feature appearances from some renowned barber shop quartets.

The afternoon starts with lunch at 12 noon, followed by singing from 1.30pm, with afternoon tea to follow afterward.

Admission is $10 and all will be welcome at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church hall, 31 Charles Street, Murray Bridge.
