University of the Third Age tutors and leaders met on November 2 to review the activities being offered in 2018 and to plan for the open day being held on Friday, November 24th from 10am to 3pm at the White Park Community Clubrooms on Mulgundawah Road.
The open day be an opportunity for members of the community to visit the recently opened White Park extensions and talk with current members about the wide range of programs and activities U3A Murraylands offers over 50s. Social and education programs include computing, art and craft, language, music, card and board games, book or film discussion, exercise groups, plus special events.
The health and well-being benefits for people who are actively involved with their community are numerous.
Those who wish to get involved in a program, or who have skills to share, are warmly invited to attend.
