UPDATE: 12.45pm – 13/11/2017

CFS media have confirmed the Mount Pleasant fire is now controlled.

Around 40 hectares were burnt and the CFS are currently unsure what sparked the fire.

12.16pm - 13/11/2017

A bushfire at Mount Pleasant is travelling in a South Easterly direction towards Palmer.

The fire is uncontrolled and burning in stubble and conditions are continually changing.

Do not enter this area as roads may not be safe.

The CFS issued a Watch and Act message at 11.41am, Monday November 13, and advised that the fire near Angas Valley Road might threaten safety.

Check and follow any Bushfire Survival Plan. The CFS advise that if you are not prepared, leave now, but only if the path is clear to a safer place.
