BEN LAFFRA: Gideon's Credo author to visit Murray Bridge Library

Budding writers have the opportunity to learn tricks of the trade from author Ben Laffra when he visits the Murray Bridge Library on December 5.

Peter Lafferty, better known by his pen name Ben Laffra, will be promoting Gideon’s Credo - the second novel in his Gideon’s series.

Library Deputy Team Leader Bev Morgan said members of writers groups and those writing their own novels would find the author visit of particular interest.

“He is a great speaker who has had an amazing life and elements of his own adventures come through in his novels,” she said.

“A new author like Ben should be an inspiration to all budding authors in our community.”

Gideon’s Credo is a historical epic set against the backdrop of France during the European Renaissance. It tells the story of one man who stands up against reformists for the sake of the people.

Ben Laffra will appear at the Library from 2pm on Tuesday, December 5.
