Spring is a season of beautiful sunsets and a wonderful time of year for simply gazing at the sky, judging by the photos The Murray Valley Standard has received from readers this month.
We feature “photos worth 1000 words” in each of our print editions: the brilliant, unusual or perfectly timed shots that capture a moment.
We take things one step further on our Facebook page, challenging local photographers to send us the best shots on a theme each month, with the winning example taken in the Murraylands and Mallee to be used as our header photo.
A month ago, we asked for photos on the theme “clouds” and received submissions that were anything but grey and drab.
You can take a look at the best of them on our website.
And a heads-up: December’s photo challenge will have the theme “little things”.
