Two Murraylands Country Fire Service (CFS) brigades have received new trucks in the past fortnight.

Mannum CFS got a new 34P – equipped with a 3000-litre water tank and four-wheel-drive – on November 26, according to the CFS promotions unit.

It replaced a 16-year-old 24P which will be sent to another brigade.

Lameroo took delivery of another 34P on November 30, to replace a 19-year-old 24P which is likely to be removed from service.

Both Izusu FTS 800 trucks were fitted out by New Zealand-based Fraser Engineering.

Note: An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated the trucks were fitted out in Adelaide. The Fraser Engineering based there did not complete the work.
