The Murray Bridge branch of the Red Cross held their annual bowls day fundraiser on December 1 at the bowling greens on Thomas Street.

Despite the inclement weather there was a good turn-out and the bowlers who attended had an enjoyable afternoon.

The Red Cross received $595 from the fees paid by the bowlers to play their games; they also enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea, a selection of goodies from a trading table and a continuous raffle for vouchers donated by local businesses.

Many thanks to those bowlers who attended for their generous support and also to Red Cross members for suppling baking for the training table, afternoon tea and prizes for the raffle.
