Jervois vs Karoonda
Jervois (6-2) play host to Karoonda (2-6) in our first match of round 10 with both sides looking to bounce back from crushing losses last week.
Jervois were totally outplayed by Mypolonga while Karoonda run into an inform Mannum.
Jervois should welcome back their leading run scorer Lee Spurling to the side while Karoonda will retain young all rounder Harry Dunn back for the clash but will be without Luke Hocking and Rhys Bullard.
Jervois will be glad to be back on their home ground where they are undefeated this season and if Daniel Gilmour and Andrew Penhall can find some form to support Lee Spurling and Andrew Fidge they should be hard to beat.
Zac Bullard will need to be at his best if the Magpies are to come close and if Josh Smithson and Harry Dunn can get among the runs they could push, Jervois but I’ll have to tip the Bluds.
Meningie vs Mypolonga
Meningie (2-6) host Mypolonga (7-1) in our second match where Meningie are coming off a loss to Monarto away last week while Mypolonga were impressive in bowling over Jervois at home.
Meningie will welcome back leading run-scorer Brad Biddle, while Mypolonga will be without young star Trent Sherman but welcome back veteran Jason Daniel for the long trip.
The last time these two sides met in round one, Jared Marston and Sam Elliot tore the Meningie bowlers apart, so Turtle Bradley and Jai Ling will need to be at the best for their side are to contain the visitors.
Stuart Williss and Brad Biddle are all class and normally lift when at home so if they can restrict Mypolonga, they are a chance.
In tipping a winner, you can’t go past Mypolonga. Aaron Zrim went without a wicket last week, so expect the league’s best bowler to be hunting a bag.
Wanderers vs Monarto
Wanderers (3-5) play host to Monarto (6-2) in our match of the round where Wanderers will be looking for a win to keep within reach of the top four while a Monarto win will see them stay in touch of ladder leaders Mypolonga and Mannum.
Wanderers are coming off a soft win over Imperials last round while Monarto totally outclassed Meningie at home.
Wanderers should regain Kaushal Gupta for the clash while for Monarto inform opener Jacob Rance will return to bolster an already strong Monarto batting line-up.
Wanderers have turned a corner in recent weeks after a slow start to the year.
If captain Jalen Kowalick can continue to get runs out of Stuart Barlett and Tyler Miller, this should be close.
For Monarto Riley Vanson made a return to form last week with a hard hitting 72 and with Alex Pfeiffer bowling well, I’ll tip Monarto to get the win.
Tailem Bend vs Imperials
Tailem Bend (2-6) host Imperials (1-7) in our last match where both sides will be desperate for a win before the break.
Imperials are coming off a disappointing loss to Wanderers at home last week while Tailem Bend had the bye.
Imperials will regain Wayne Gilgen and Justin Fullgrabe for the clash while Paul Baxter will return after missing Tailem Bends last match.
Both sides have been struggling with the bat this season, so both outfits will be looking for vast improvements from their top order.
Where this match could be won will be the battle of the youngsters with James Dawson of Tailem Bend and Ben Gilgen of Imperials going head-to-head.
Both are having good years and both have the talent to turn the match.
In tipping a winner, I think Tailem Bend should take it out at home and Dawson will have a day out.
