A man has been arrested after allegedly threatening a taxi driver at Elizabeth earlier today.
Just after 12pm on Saturday, December 30, police were called to the Elizabeth City Centre after reports of a taxi driver being threatened by a man with a knife.
The taxi driver was not injured.
Patrols quickly attended and with the assistance of security, located the man nearby and arrested him without incident.
Police located and seized a small sword from the 23-year-old Adelaide man.
He has been charged with aggravated threats to kill, carry offensive weapon and breach of bail.
He was refused police bail and is expected to appear in court on Tuesday, January 2.
