Busy weekend for the Murraylands

After a slow start to 2018, the Murraylands is set to come alive this weekend. 

Sounds by the River will once again attract music lovers from far and wide to Mannum’s riverfront Mary Ann Reserve on Saturday evening. 

Rock music icon Suzi Quatro is headlining this year’s festival and will be join Australian music legends The Angels, Baby Animal, The Screaming Jets, Moving Pictures and Chocolate Starfish.

Gates opens at 2pm.

Around the region, the Saturday leg of the 2018 Women’s Tour Down Under sets off from The Bend Motorsport Park on Saturday morning, travelling through Murray Bridge towards Hahndorf.

Riders are expected to be travelling across the bridge from 11.50am and turn onto Old Princes Highway around midday.

The Revolve24 cycling festival will occur over the weekend at The Bend Motorsport Park.
