The driver of a car found stopped in the middle of Swanport Road last Tuesday will face court.

A Murray Bridge man will face court after he allegedly registered a blood alcohol reading more than double the legal limit.

Just after 7pm last Tuesday night police spotted a stopped car in the middle of Swanport Road with two blown tyres.

The 37 year-old driver was breath tested and allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.113.

The Murray Bridge man was reported for drink driving, had his license disqualified for six months and his car was impounded for 28 days. He will be summonsed to appear in court.
