A Mannum man on a provisional license was allegedly caught speeding while under the influence of Methylamphetamine

A Mannum man was detected speeding, while allegedly driver under the influence, in the Murray Mallee region on Friday.

Just before 8am the 43 year-old was stopped on Reedy Creek Road in Pallamana for travelling at 113km/h in a 100 km/h zone. 

He was issued an expiation notice after checks revealed he had a provisional drivers licence and allegedly tested positive for Methylamphetamine.

He is expected to face further consequences once forensice testing has been completed.
