State Liberal leader Steven Marshall was in Whyalla on Saturday, March 1st, to further reaffirm his commitment to regional South Australia.

"South Australia's regions have been ignored by Premier Weatherill and Labor for 12 years," Mr Marshall said.

"On the other hand, the state Liberals understand the importance of supporting our regions to create jobs and grow our state's economy."

Mr Marshall met with Liberal candidate for Giles Bernadette Abraham to discuss local matters and together chat to residents outside of Mrs Abraham's office at Westland Shopping Centre.

"The state Liberals are committed to better supporting our regions and driving productivity to grow South Australia's economy," Mr Marshall said.

"Our commitment to the regions is part of our Growth Action Agenda to create jobs, improve infrastructure and deliver better outcomes for regional communities."

Mr Marshall then toured the Bangor bushfire affected region with Liberal Member for Stuart Dan van Holst Pellekaan before visiting Port Pirie with Liberal candidate for Frome Kendall Jackson.
