At this year's state election, all eyes have been on the Mid North seat of Frome as the Liberals eye off potential seats to win and form government.

The seat has seen many high profile visits from various politicians, including Premier Jay Weatherill and Opposition Leader Steven Marshall.

Former Port Pirie mayor Geoff Brock ran for the seat as an independent at a by-election in 2009, getting in with the help of preferences.

At the 2010 state election, he further increased his first preference vote and his stronghold on the seat of Frome.

Liberal candidate Kendall Jackson has maintained a strong presence throughout the campaign and could be the only candidate in Frome capable of seeing the seat change hands.
