Police are investigating a suspicious fire which destroyed a caravan in Murray Bridge in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Police are investigating a suspicious fire which destroyed a caravan in Murray Bridge last night.

Metropolitan Fire Service crews and police attended the fire in Best Street at about 12.15am on Wednesday morning where they found a caravan well alight.

No one was inside the caravan when the blaze began and no one was injured by the fire. 

The alleged crime scene has been under guard as police wait for crime scene investigators to attend.
