Member for Barker Tony Pasin has begun his annual ANZAC Day ‘bundy run’, visiting towns across the Murraylands.
Mr Pasin is visiting RSL’s across his electorate to deliver bottles of Bundaberg Rum for RSL members to enjoy on Anzac Day.
“It’s a small gesture- a token of appreciation for their service they gave to our Nation and continue to give to our community,” Mr Pasin said.
“I encourage everyone to make the effort to attend a local service to commemorate Anzac Day and the sacrifice our diggers, past and present, have made and continue to make to help shape our nation.”
Murray Bridge RSL will hold a pre service on Sunday, April 23 at 3.30pm at the RSL Section of the Murray Bridge Cemetery.
The Anzac Day Dawn Service will be conducted at Sturt Reserve and will commence at 5.45am.
The Marketplace Shopping Centre lower level car park will be open from 5am and all are invited back for the traditional gunfire breakfast.
