At Murray Bridge High School pedal prix is different from your usual extracurricular sport. The school is lucky to have a team with a wide variety of student qualities, ranging from students in year eight through to year 12.
Unlike some rivals, the lead team is not a select group of trained cyclists. Team Titan consists of the best of our best. Many students in this particular team are 16-17 years of age and have been competing since year eight. Their years of experience will prove to be invaluable.
There is a drive in the team to be the best they can. This season the team’s excellent preseason was reflected in their fitness test results, which were some of the best ever set by senior students Brayden Williss, Lachlan Pearce, Jason Woodard and Breigh Angove.
They are also seeing personal bests from the rest of the cohort. This fitness base resulted in the fourth position of 180 entries in both Adelaide races. Much hard work has also been invested into constructing the school’s two new trikes “Cadence” and Callisto” while also maintaining the carbon composite trike.
Murray Bridge High’s Pedal Prix program is improving in leaps and bounds. For the first time ever our lead team is competing with the top 15 teams in the series (Over 150). The school would like to thank all of their sponsors, including AutoPro Murray Bridge, Coles Murray Bridge and Rob August and Newell Composites.
