A 15-year-old girl has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a 25-year-old woman at a house in Murray Bridge on Thursday, September 14.
Police were called to a home on Jarvis Avenue around 8:30am after the 15-year-old had entered the home and allegedly stabbed the woman.
The victim sustained minor injuries to her leg and was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.
Police reported the incident was not random and both the woman and girl were known to each other.
Her injuries were not considered to be life threatening.
The girl was arrested and charged with serious criminal trespass, aggravated assault and carrying an offensive weapon.
She was bailed and will appear before Murray Bridge Youth Court at a later date.
