'It's all in the timing' for Kyly Clarke

When it comes to adding to the brood, work and the World Polo Championships, it's all about timing, for Kyly Clarke.

With first-born Kelsey Lee about to turn two in a month, the lifestyle influencer and her husband, former Australia cricket captain Michael Clarke, are waiting for the right opportunity to add another Clarke to the mix.

"Michael has actually been away more now that he is a commentator than when he was cricketer - six months of the year. He needs to be in the country first," Clarke laughed to Fairfax Media.

"But we both have siblings and we both want Kelsey Lee to have one. I think it's all in the timing."

Now Kelsey Lee is old enough, it's also the right time for Clarke to get back into the swing of things at work, managing the success of her Lyfestyled??? candles that were recently picked up by Myer, and launching her new fitness and cooking videos on her website.

"People do ask me what I eat and how exercise, so I thought I should share them. I just thought I might be able to help someone," she said.

Ambassador for the week-long World Polo Championships that kicks off next weekend at Richmond, Clarke is hoping to make a family day of it bringing along Michael and Kelsey Lee.

"He is so busy but I think he's really keen on coming, and we are hoping to bring Kelsey Lee as well," she laughed.

While the horses and players are busy on the field, the real action will be the fashion on the sidelines - just don't get polo fashion mixed up with racewear.

"Think wedges, no heels. Sinking into the grass is not a good look, and it's hats not fascinators," she said.
