So much to do, see in Murraylands

The Murraylands Fair is on this Sunday with so much to see and do, bargains to buy and fun to be had.

There is something available for every member of the family, with handmade goods and quality products and services.

There will be more than 70 stalls with items such as handmade jewellery, childrens wear, candles, baked goods, local produce, wine, juices and so much more.

For the children there are free activities and games such as face painting, bubble show, bouncy castle and entertainment.

Fundraising from the event will go to Hill’s Heroes, for riding for beyondblue.

The fair is located at the Murray Bridge Racecourse from 10am to 3pm, with a gold coin entry fee.

On Saturday night the Murray Bridge Speedway will be hosting super sedans, street stocks, late models, modlites and junior sedans.

Gates open at 2pm with action from 4pm and racing from 5pm.

The Coorong council mobile skate park is now servicing the Coonalpyn district up until November 10.

The mobile ramp allows children and young adults enjoy a skate park environment across the council area, making sure each town hosts it for an eight-week period.

The Rural City of Murray Bridge is sponsoring a Spring Garden Competition, which will finish on Tuesday.

Home gardens can be entered into the competition to showcase their gardeners hard work and creative flair.

There are 10 categories including best school garden, best senior’s garden and Mayor’s award. Judging has taken place and an awards ceremony on Monday will list the winners.
