A motorcycle rider has died from his injuries following a crash at Tailem Bend last week.
Just after 12pm on Tuesday, October 24, police and emergency services were called to the junction of the Dukes and Princes Highways after a rider came off his motorcycle.
The rider, a 70-year-old man from Bowden, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to the Flinders Medical Centre where he died of his injuries on Thursday, November 2.
Major crash investigators attended the scene and are examining the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The man's death takes the states road toll to 84, compared to 70 at the same time last year.
Nineteen motorcycle riders are included in that statistic, compared to eight at the same time last year.
