Everyone can vote for local projects

The Fund My Neighbourhood program allows people to vote for the projects in their area they think deserve government funding.

But organisers recognise that not everyone finds it easy to log onto a website and have their say.

A workshop at Murray Bridge Town Hall at 9am next Friday, November 10, will help anyone who falls into that category.

Staff from the Department of Premier and Cabinet will show attendees how to create a shortlist of their favourite ideas and cast their votes, where to access a computer in the community, how to get a free email address, and how to vote if they do not have a mobile phone.

Attendees can register their interest ahead of time … on a website.

A similar session was held at Tailem Bend on Wednesday.
